Scrumpled

"I was trying to draw a lighting plan for a job one evening and I kept messing it up, and the classic screwing up of the paper and throwing it behind me ensued. After I'd finished the plan, I look round to see the 4 balls of scrumpled paper sitting there, nowhere near the bin, and I had a bit of an idea.

Scrumpled is a visual manifestation of that moment of frustration, that peak of irritation when you scrumple up that paper and hurl it across the room. There's something quite satisfying about the whole process. Each scrumple was created with a sheet of G.F. Smith Colorplan paper, and has been individually screwed up and thrown at a bin before being photographed to ensure authenticity."
