In a world where objects have a very short life and where there is an abundance of rubbish and abandoned materials, the importance of recycling has grown a lot over the years. There are a few artists and artisans who base their work on re-using old abandoned materials to create something new and at the same time help the planet. 

The film follows Nicolas Luciani a shoe maker based in Venice Beach who gives new life to old, broken second hand shoes by creating brand new, one of a kind, wearable works of art.
