"Minus 58.4 was the coldest recorded day, with windchill in Edmonton, Ab. Edmonton gets cold, very cold during the winter. No one quite knows why we stay here, in a place that feels like we settled in Antarctica. When the North Saskatchewan river which runs through the city freezes over, we know we have a long road ahead of us to when we can see the flowing water again. 

This series is to highlight the riverbanks textures, shapes, and contrast along the river with the visual and physical feeling of living in frozen hell. "
