"The image is a combination of 2D and 3D techniques into one cohesive digital illustration. It portrays a boy with an exoskeletal shedding and melting away from his body. The idea/meaning to the piece is the kid has been enlightened from the light coming through his eyes and goggles and his body is reacting to the this new state of being and begins to melt shed away into something new."
