Sculpture Carbon
Fissures are sculptural objects, generated through the curing process of resin and bitumen substances. The formal typology of the sculpture is influenced by the chemical reaction of raw materials. As the materials begin to cure and react with one another, high temperatures of heat is exerted creating cracks and fractures throughout. The aim of the sculpture is to explore conditions of translucency and opaqueness within a singular chemical reaction.
