"I wanted to create a gemstone that lived in a particular environment. The project started as an exploration that could help me learn and understand more about textures/materials with Octane render, simple use of x-particles and mostly it was me trying to be creative in my spare time.

After making the first gemstone I thought it would be cool to create different looks and interaction with places. So that leads me to this 7 Alien-like gemstones, my goal was that each one of them had its own behaviour and reaction."
